not sure if this is the right place and I know i am going to get slammed fo rthis. yes i have used the search button but there is so so many different ways and ides i dont want to kill my sons phone.
I have a mytouch 3g little phone i got used for my son. when i bought it the guys said something about he moddeed it with beeter file i dotn remeber, i am guessing he meant rom. the phone has 2.3.1 i think it said under version if i remebr right. all i know is its goofy and give sme tons of erros messge left and right and id like to take it back to oem and start over. is it easy or not. do i need all kinds of stuff to do this or is it a simple ting to do. i think its the reason its giving errors and forsed closed issies etc. there not really anyting i put onit program wise just all kinds of stuff he did...id like to just take it back to 2.1 that it came with or whatever it did hecvk i dont even know. then upgrade it to the latest file and then maybe go fronm there but to make sure its not one of the things he added or changed id like ot kow its back to oem. sory to ask sucj dumb question but every i look i see different ways...rom this rom that...thanks...
