Help MY touch slide - disable annoying alerts?

i keep getting annoying notifications/daily deal alerts. they are not text messages or i could block the sender..they are emails..and i have to hit the link to get rid of the notificaiton and instantly it takes me to their webpage...this is annoying..any thoughts on how i can block/turn this off? i called tmobile and they put a free block on but it is still happening

I think we'll need more info to help you with this. Are you getting email notifications or notifications from an app?

Are you using Gmail? You can create a simple filter in Gmail so you will never see those emails in your inbox again.
