Ok, this driving me insane. ><
I regularly like using the VZ data widget to show my data usage. Recently I have tried tapping it to login to the full "My Verizon" app to check my voice / data usage (this USED to work at some point but I havn't done it in a long while).
Now, no matter what, the app keeps telling me my username and password do not match & it will not login. I can, however, use the exact same username and password to access the "My Verizon" website to in my local browser.
So... in an attempt to get this working, I have cleared the cache / the data / rebooted... to no avail.
To make matters more annoying, I read somewhere that you need the VZ Login app (which I did have but didn't know). I found it in the market and clicked to install, but it said I already have it... now here's the wierd part: when I go to the market on my phone it shows in the NOT INSTALLED list! (I see the app as running in my apps task manager too!).
Bah... so not only is the stupid My Verizon app not working for its one small purpose, but now I have an app under "NOT INSTALLED" that is actually installed and gives no option to reinstall / uninstall / or remove from the list!!!
Sheesh. Way to go VZ. Any suggestions on how to clean this all up?
(I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to getting things "right" on my phone... I don't like leaving things in lists where they aren't supposed to be! ><).
EDIT: in case you're wondering, the only app I have disabled atm is the VZ Backup app (which shouldn't be related). This situation also prevents me from accesing the NFL Mobile app (since it uses the VZ Login).

) is actually a lower version number than the login app on our phones... which leads me to believe that the VZ Nexus actually had a specific version factory installed. When you try to install from the market, it adds it to the list, but then sees you have a newer version installed & can't install the one from the market.... just my theory anyway. The bottom line is that its just not working for me anyway.
