My Verizon Mobile app

What's up with the latest update and all the new permissions, like access to Send/Receive SMS messages, initiate Bluetooth pairing, and retrieve a list of all the Applications running on the phone? And no explanation as to why. I uninstalled the update and disabled the app.

Meh. I guess it's good that it won't run on my Nexus with CM10. I liked it for the data usage tracking, but that's it.

Being a rooted user, I haven't had that bloat on my phone for years. It's useless. Nothing personal to anyone here, but I detest Verizon bloat.

I agree. I hate Verizon as well. And ran when I had the chance. I nevr used the Verizon app to check anything.

I'm on cm10.2 and I can't really tell what the update brought except they revamped the icon and changes there coloring to more of an orange-ish red. I like the app to track my data usage.
