Help My wi fi keeps turning on

I turn off my wi fi and it keeps coming back on. I don't want it draining my battery. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

When you locate the Sprint Automatic connections setting, in the explanation, they actually try and tell you it will "improve battery performance".. All they are trying to do is get people off thier network for data so it's not on thier nickle.. what a scam!
