Help My wifi seems capped around 10mbit.

Got myself an S5, it annoys me that something seems to be capping its wifi.
It's connected to an Asus AC68U, it doesn't matter if I select the 2.4GHz network or the 5GHz, I still only get 10mbit throughput.

I've also got a note 10.1 2014 and it does that exact same thing, which makes me believe that it is some android feature that I'm unaware of.

My computers have no issues at all on the same wifi.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: Some more info.
If I go into service mode on the phone I can see that its connected at 766mbps.

No issues with mine..I get 17-20 mbps which is the same for all of my other android devices and laptops in my house

How many devices do you have connected to your wifi network? Are you in an apartment? Are the channels crowded?

Do you have devices on your network that are 802.11b devices? Wireless routers will be at the lowest common denominator for network speeds. Try going to N only mode.

Thanks everyone. The problem is solved for now. I found a beta firmware for my router which seems to have resolved the problem.
