Help My wifi tethering doesnt want to work in my PS3! Help

So ive been trying to tether my phone to my ps3 for months with all the apps i can find and no luck, i even rooted my phone. it works fine with my pc and and other device like itouch or laptop but not my ps3. Does the ps3 not support my revolution? Does anybody else have this problem or does it work with any of your guys lg revo, if it does let me know plz, thanks.
