This is a useful but frustrating app. When you need it most, it is not there. In case of catastrophic data loss, you need a PIN and order number... And, of course you need the app. Marketplace is chronic at losing the record of your app purchase. Workarounds for all this are available... But, when you get a new phone, you may be lulled into a false sense of backedupedness... If you can figure out how to get the app back onto your new device, you may not have access as the app only allows a certain number of registrations. Not sure what this means, but my dead phone seems to be using up my one and only available registration, so now I have no access to my data or apps from my new phone. At some point, it's easier to rebuild the whole damn thing from the ground floor.
In the end, not all your apps, nor all your data will restore as you had hoped. A good bunch of it will, but not all.
