Root MyBackup

I recently had to swap my phone for a reconditioned one with cricket. After re-rooting and removing bloatware etc etc I noticed something called "mybackup" Cricket's online backup for your phone.

Question is, I do not remember seeing this on my last Ascend and I do not seem to see it listed on any of the "do" or "do not" remove lists. Can I freeze/delete it? Anyone with experience care to share?

It's safe to un-install this app, don't have it on mine. All it does, is to allow you to backup your contacts and I think your sms to cricket's servers. May be wrong on the sms backup. There are better free apps on the market that does the same thing.
