Help mymetro.apk from the stock s3 please

I tried installing MyMetro app on my Galaxy S3 but after I tried running it, it says Unfortunately MyMetro has stopped. Any advice?

I have the same problem. I've tried installing the myMetro.apk on Liquid Smooth and CM 10.1 and I keep getting "unfortunately, myMetro has stopped working." Anyone know how to fix this?

Ok,I went to system and there's an app called priv. Itin . What do I do? I can't install it into that app. And there's no priv app itself

No, move the mymetro apk into the folder system/priv-app. You must be rooted and have a root file explorer to do this. That's how you make it into a system app instead of a user app, which is the only way it will work.

Mines doesn't have the priv app. I am rooted. It says everything on your picture but priv app isn't in mine, don't know why.

I tried it with root explorer, root browser and file explorer. , none have the priv app. What is that

Are you on 4.4.2 KitKat? You should just be able to click the folder "system" then scroll down to the folder priv-app. If you don't have it you might just have to put it in system/app folder then reboot.
If you see the apps in my shot in your system/app folder, then just put it in there.
Then make sure to check its permissions to match the rest.

My phone was originally sch i535 from Verizon. I took it to metro pcs. Maybe that's why. But it's still rooted and doesn't have any Rom on it.

Yeah,I set it to rw--r--r. I moved it to system, than app. Or do I just leave it in system. Anyway after I go to app,I installed it, rebooted it and it says my metro app has stopped working. It'll even do it randomly.

thanx again man. most ppl don't even care. now I wanna change the verizon picture when i turn my phone on to the metro pcs that goes hello hello hello...
