MyMobiler not working for Windows 8 laptop

I've been trying to get MyMobiler to connect to an Android Phone, but it keeps saying that mobile may not be connected or ActiveSync is busy. How do I fix this?
 
You got the correct drivers installed for you phone, and is Windows itself able to connect with your phone? Do you know if the software is compatible with Win 8? You may want to email the developers about it., because if it actually is a problem with their software, they're the ones to fix it.
