Mysterious blue triangle

Hi, I have a rooted Huawei g300 on ICS, which works just fine, but the little blue triangle in the notification bar, on the top right, next to the wifi signal and battery status icon mystifies me? It's right angled triangle facing left, and consists of small horizontal blue bars. I've read the manual and no mention is made. Any ideas??

Sounds like network signal indicator
