mytouch 4g problem please help!!!!!

hello everyone. i recently bought a mytouch 4g from a friend everything was working fine until i did a factory reset. after i did a factory reset turned on the phone and it loaded to the htc sense screen then it fades away and goes blank. what can be the problem? ive tried holding down the volume and power button and also did a reset from there and still the same thing turns on shows the mytouch 4g screens then the htc sense screen and it fades away to black in the sunlight u can still see the htc sense screen but no light.

I dont think youre waiting long enough. It takes a while to load everything the first time. Try hitting home or back a few times after waiting a little bit.
