MyTouch 4g

Just picked up the mytouch 4g today. Already have a firmware update! Anyone have any ideas what it is for?

I'm not sure what it's for, but the sales associate told me to expect a firmware update in the next couple days. I meant to ask her what it was for, but we started talking about something else. My guess is that it's nothing too major, prolly just a bug fix.

Yep i had the same conversation. My tmobile rep said she has had her's for weeks now. I told her she was a bad person and is not more special then me so i should have had it first. LOL

We laughed then she hit me in the pocket with a bill for 500 bucks. OUCH...

Update was at least in part an update from Android 2.2 to Android 2.2.1

I think it was an update to the "Faves" contacts.

The update was for a camera issue the MT4G was having.. I got the info from T-mobile directly.
