mytouch cm9 help

i recently installed cm9 beta 3 on a mytouch 3g slide (htc espresso) and im wondering how to install gapps. i tried by using rom manager but clockwork recovery doesn't install and i need help to install gapps

Welcome,

You'll have to go directly into recovery mode and install the gapps file. I don't know how to get into recovery on your phone, though. Perhaps someone else here does.

yeah i know that and tried but i couldn't get it to work, i tried to update and put in clockwork recovery manually and install gapps, i did but when i rebooted the phone it started out as a new phone and said press the android to start, and i did but then it said setup wizard has stopped. it wont stop doing it
