Mytouch Slide Stuck on T-Mobile Splash Boot Screen

I have a rooted phone.

It was acting weird for the first time today. Whenever I pressed a button it would open up some weird windows I've never seen before. Like a weird looking calendar. So I restarted it and now it won't start up.

I did text someone with wet fingers and some small bits of water got on the keyboard.

probably a bad Rom. see if you can get into recovery after a battery pull.

I pulled the battery for 6 hours yesterday and 10 hours today. Still can't get into recovery. Is there any other way to get into recovery besides using the phone? Like SDK? Can I wipe and install a new rom through SDK?

Ive heard of some people using adb reboot recovery as an adb command. Give that a shot if you still need to.
