hey does anyone know here i can find the tmobile 1.6update for the mytouch3g to download everywhere i look it is showing me a dead link or how to root.

went to the site i got the 1.6 ota update did not work the file was 14mb. anywhere else i can get the full tmobile 1.6

That is the 1.6 update that was sent out from T-Mobile. If you want the general 1.6 release visit HTC's dev site.

ok thanks. i renamed the file to update.zip when it is installing it is giving an error. am i doing it right.

Are you on stock 1.5?
Also, if you're on a windows machine make sure that you have file extensions visable so you haven't named the file update.zip.zip

yes i am on stock 1.5, i didnt add the double extension.
