Help n00b Question

Hey guys, I've had a Europa i5500 for about a week now and I installed an app called ''Screenshot'' today so I can take screenshots for the web, when I open the app it says to ''Hotkey this application from the homescreen to take screenshots from anywhere easily'' so I looked around my phone for a way to hotkey the app with no results. I googled for help and all the forums/sites said to go to Settings - Applications - Quick Launch and set it up there. but my phone does'nt have that:confused:
I'm still new to Android so any and all help is much appreciated! Thanks for looking

Lots of views, no replies, surely someone knows how? No amount of googling has the answer I'm looking for. Even a recommendation for a different app that'll do much the same thing.

hey queeni, thanks for the reply! I think I'll just have to go ahead and root my phone.
I have downloaded but not yet installed Universal Androot to my mobile, can I root my phone while running 2.2 Froyo? Or do I have to downgrade to 2.1 again?
