n00b questions about Microsoft Exchange / ActiveSync

Lurker
(I've asked this on three forums so far and I haven't gotten a single response... fingers crossed for this forum.)

My understanding is that Microsoft Exchange is natively supported by Android 2.0 and greater.

I'm wondering if this support is via officially licensed Exchange ActiveSync, or if it's done via some sort of workaround.

Additionally, is this Microsoft Exchange support in all Android 2.0 and greater devices or just some?

Thanks.

No workaround -- it's ActiveSync.

All of them. However, not all the stock Exchange clients are the same. Keep in mind that several OEM's have their own UI's.
