n00b with a quest!

[gelidusera]

LOL. I'm another happy Android fan like most of the people here.

(I guess I'm one since I'm currently equipped with an Android phone and a giant Android squishable.)

Thanks to a fair bit of lurking on this site, I've managed to root my phone and to upgrade the OS without having to call technical assistance. Which is awesome, considering I'm barely any more intelligent than a single-cell organism sometimes. ^^;

But now I'm finally forced out of lurkdom - I want to get myself a Japanese Android phone and will hence need to learn how to get it unlocked!

It looks like it will be a long ride, so, please take care of me. :3

(EDIT: Here's the thread explaining my problem.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

Glad you joined us and are no longer a lurker.
Great to hear you successfully rooted your phone and that these forums helped you do so. I highly doubt that, and think you're smarter than a organism.
I'll take a look at your thread and see if I can't be of assistance, and if not, then maybe the other guides can.
If you need any help or have questions please feel free to ask.
Enjoy the forums.
