Hi Guys,
Ive had a N8010 going on around 9 months now, and never had a problem with it. I last used it probably around a week ago with no issues. Picked it up today, and i couldnt get it to turn on. I figured, ok a flat battery.
With the unit off and charging, the blue battery appears to show the unit charging, then the screen blanks out, and it starts all over again.
Ive done some reading into it, and ive seen afew posts about how if the battery is severely depleted, you need to trickle charge it on a PC then move to a wall adapter charger.
Ive tried that... with no luck. I can enter Odin mode and the unit stays on with no issue, ive been able to get the unit to turn on maybe about 3-4 times now, but battery percentage is at around 1% then it just shuts off again and we go through the entire process all over again.
Has anyone had this problem or found a way to get around it? Im alil disappointed that it seems to have shit itself... while not even being in use.
Also, if its a battery issue and would need to go through warranty.... Is there a way to reduce the binary count on the unit? Ive had it rooted once before for about a month or so, but changed it back to stock. Ive heard of triangle which allows you to reset the count, but from what ive read so far about triangle means that the unit needs to be accessable. Mines not at the moment. I know this single binary count will most likely stop my warranty from covering the battery not charging issue, which obviously im trying my best to avoid.
Any help is extremely appreciated all.
Thanks.
