Nabi Camera - stopped unexpectedly

Mydaughter has a Nabi and when we try to use the camera, we get the message...Sorry! The application Camera(process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I've read the post in regards to this message on phones but we haven't downloaded any new apps and there are only 14 pictures on her tablet.

Can anyone help!!!

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

Not familiar with that model, but general troubleshooting would be to go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications and find the camera app, then clear the data and cache and restart the device. If that doesn't work, you can try a different camera app. Finally, if nothing helps, you may need to perform a factory reset.
