Name This Notification Bar Logo

New to this HTC One X+. There an icon in the notifcation bar next to the wifi icon that looks like two half arrows, one pointing up, the other down. It's solid white square and the half arrows are black. There's no indication as to what it belongs to when I pull down the notification shade. Almost sort of looks like letters NV.

Sync I believe.

Post a pic.

[Metroid Prime]

Yeah, I think it's sync. Try turning sync off and see if it goes away.

I turned Auto Sync off and it didn't go away.

Bluetooth? Idk that's strange. All I've used are HTC products and I've never seen that

[Wilkas]

I can't find that notification anywhere, looks like it must be from an app

Give this a try and see what it says https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector&hl=en

[Metroid Prime]

That's defiantly nothing I've ever seen. Has to be an app.

AirPush didn't detect anything.

Wow, I thought it would be easy and it was just because I was an Android newbie I didn't know what it is. Now I'm REALLY curious.

[El Presidente]

Is it the new NFC icon? Is that active via Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> More?

[Wilkas]

El pres has it right, it's the new standard pay point icon when you use your phone to pay for stuff or anything else that uses NFC
