Help Nandroid restore from 16GB to 32GB?

Just wondering if I could use my nandroid backup from my 16GB Nexus7 to "build" my new 32GB Nexus7 when it comes on Wednesday.

Basically just flash CWM and restore to have fully rooted, ready to go
32GB Nexus7.

Good to know. The only issue I was really concerned with was because of the new hardware (3G data, microSIM) that is in the 32GB. Is that still functional, or have you even had a chance to check it?
 
Had to go look at mine, evidently it is not the 3G version, no micro sim slot :). I use my phone and fox fi if ever I need to use the tablet out of touch with wi fi. However I don't see where that has much to do with the android OS, so I'd be pretty surprised if that was an issue...however one can never be too careful:).
 
It's the same os.. It should work. But I would make a backup before you flash you other backup so it's easy to revert back just in case

The 32GB IS the 3G. It's $249 and there are not 2 different models of the 32GB 7" Nexus.

Are you talking about 10" device?

Ooops yep. But the 3g isn't available yet according to the google site. I was cornfused.
