Help Native Video Calling? - US/VZW

No I'm not trying to video call natives (sorry beat you guys to the punchline).

Tried searching but didn't see this addressed specifically.

So does Samsung or Verizon bundle an app or have the built in ability within the stock OS (non root) to support video calling out of the box? I don't see any option to enable it but may be overlooking something. Seems like that is a big oversight if not included.

I've seen apps that provide this functionality - Tango, GTalk, Skype but I was hoping I could do this natively without requiring a separate app.

So if not a native feature, what do you guys recommend for the best experience?

Requirements:
  1. Doesn't require root
  2. Least amount of lag
  3. Decent/good resolution
  4. Works with Verizon phones
  5. Doesn't try to invite my whole address book
  6. Don't need international calling - just US is fine

From what I've seen there is not native app for video calling. I will say Tango has worked exceptionally well the past few days, more so then my attempts with Skype.

You've really answered your own question...nothing native...

GTalk/Google+ might be the closest thing you get to native, but I'm not really active with them.

Skype is great on wifi, fickle on 4g, and doesn't work on 3g.

Tango is supposed to be great, especially over 3g, but I've never used it.

Choose your poison!
