Are there any 10 inch Android tablets that have a real GPS chip that will show your location WITHOUT relying on wifi or 3G or 4G?

The best one that comes to mind is the Galaxy Tab 3. It has a dedicated GPS sensor. You can also add GPS to any android device by using a device like the Dual Electronics XGPS150A Universal Bluetooth GPS Receiver for Portable Devices. Keep in mind you will need to use offline mapping apps to provide mapping data or use Google maps "OK maps" caching service which you can find more info on here: Offline google maps information

Samsung chat support says ALL Samsung tablets rely on wifi or a data plan.
Here a quote from the chat:

I'm confused!
All assisted GPS means is that it can use your Wi-Fi or data plan connections to assist in connections where there is limited satellite visibility. You can disable Wi-Fi and data and still utilize the GPS.
