How do I find navigation app with blue arrow icon? Android phone app.

Hi

I guess you have upgraded google maps from V6 to 7. There is now no separate icon to start navigation. There is instead a forked road icon at the top of the maps main screen which starts the navigation feature.

You can also create your own navigation shortcut (or widget) to take you straight into navigation, which I think is better than the blue arrow.

Long-press on your home screen, select shortcuts and tap on the 'Directions' icon, a 'create widget' screen will open, when you have completed it a car icon will appear on your home screen. You can create more than one icon if you wish, giving each one a name and destination.

If you untick the 'start turn by turn' box and leave the destination field blank, it will take you to the 'choose destination' screen, which is what the blue arrow did.
