Help Navigation End?

I used my Droid X to take me to a restaraunt today. After we ate it kept telling me to go back! I had to pull the battery to get it to stop. How do you convince it to stop?:o
 
If you were using the Navigation application to get to the restaurant, hit the menu button and then click on "End Navigation".
