navigation issue

Hi
I hope someone can help, I have successfully used google navigation for some time and found it really useful.
However a month ago or so it changed, I now see a different view, from above as i travl forward the goes goes down the screen if that makes sense. The voice works fine but I am not getting the normal view.
Please help

Does that help? Personally I like the view where your route 'forward' is always 'up' the screen and the map orientation rotates to suit if you make a turn. To my mind that's much easier to follow. When you're driving at least.

Just one thing it says that the guy "reset cache in google services" what does that mean?
Don't give up on me, I need to get this sorted.

It'll help you no doubt ....

I presume he means in Settings > Applications > All .... he clears the cache associated with google services. With 2.3.5 I have 'google services framework' as well as 'maps'. Try both and see what happens. Though try the 'compass' thing first ...

hit the menu key and it should be an option to change views.
