Navigation Pre-Planning - Sprint website

Newbie
I am unable to login to the Sprint Navigation website. Even though I am entering my correct phone number and the PIN the Sprint HTC Hero Nav app gave me, I am getting an "Incorrect Phone number or PIN" error message. Called Sprint support, they weren't able to login either.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
JohnP

where did you go to get the pin? did you go here?

launch Sprint Navigation and go to Tools/Extras > Contact/Support > PIN Number

I must be operating in a different dimension.
"Tools/Extras"?
"Share & More"?
I don't have any of those things when I run Sprint Navigation. They don't appear anywhere on the screen and I've bored down through each of the menu items and they're not there either. What's going on? Am I even stupider than I think I am?

No, you're not. You're just new to the Sprint HTC Hero...

Here's what you do

  1. On the Sprint HTC Hero
    • Touch Sprint Navigation
    • Accept any disclaimers (if they come up)
    • On the first screen you have 4 choices
      1. Drive To
      2. Search
      3. Maps & Traffic
      4. Share & More
    • Touch Share & More
    • Now Touch About
    • Lastly Touch Your PIN Number to get your PIN number
  2. On the Web go to Telenav's Website
    1. Click on Login
    2. Enter your Tel number and the PIN from above
    3. Click on Login

You can now preplan routes and send the preplanned routes or any other addresses to tour phone ...

(Credits got to marctronixx, who helped me to figure this one out :))

Thanks, Johnp2343, that gave me the PIN, which was the last four of my phone number. And like you, I couldn't get the Sprint site to accept my number plus PIN but the TeleNav site worked fine. Thanks again.
