Help Navigation searching before route?

I had Google Navigation on my Samsung Galaxy Ring when I bought it. After a year the speaker part said "unfortunately maps has stopped" while the text still worked.

Last wk I got a new Navigation from the store but it just starts up and says "No Route Found" and "we couldn't understand the destination."

It didn't ask for a destination, just went right into searching then stops.

I'm not sure why it's not working?

Have you tried going to phone Settings, Applications, scroll across to ALL, find the Maps app, uninstall updates then go to Play Store and update it.
See if it fixes it

Here is how you fix "Unfortunately, maps is no longer working" on an Android. I tried several different methods from people offering advice and this is what worked for me:

Internet Explorer
Settings
Privacy & Security
Location Settings
Then check to make sure that the MODE is on High Accuracy. I had mine on Device Only and it could not detect my location and could not connect with maps. Switch the MODE to High Accuracy and you'll be good.
