navigation virus????

hi, i have a galapagos, so, my proble is this
when i uses the navi, turn by turn voice, it says something strange, it is not that girl voice, is a something like a hell voice, and says than i have to update a app, dont know what app, but the voices give me a adress, www.w3.org/2001/..............., i cant understand all the messege, is this malicious or something?

Google navigation isnt a virus. if you are having a problem with it, uninstall Google Maps, then re-download it from the market.

I would guess the "hell voice" is caused by a quirk or bug within Sharp's implementation of Android on their new tablet line.

If you're having problems with the voice then check your TTS settings. The TTS engine is not part of Google Maps/Nav.

Hello,

some time ago I've been encoutering exactly the same problem sinner83 stated. I reinstalled Google Maps but it did not help at all. Does somebody have a solution to this problem? @ takeshi: How can I check my TTS settings? It means Text to speech, right? By the way, I use a HTC Desire.

I would be really happy to get some help!
