Help Navigation while in EDIT mode?

Newbie
I just got my LG Esteem and am still learning. But I am perplexed by navigating through notes that I create and then want to go back and edit.

While in edit mode I tap on the screen where I want the cursor to go, but it is mostly off by a line or a letter and I can't find any way to tell the editor to go over one character or up/down a line. Or even to the beginning or end of the line.

I don't know if this is an Esteen, Android or App issue, but I don't see, how does one navigate small movements when tapping on the screen just doesn't get you there?

Thank you

Major screen sensitivity for sure..I can relate to what you are referring to. This happens to me when trying to post up in dolphin browser here on AF. Not sure if this is an adjustable option but leaning towards no:D

Just have to be patient-and navigate gently(I know weak answer) LOL

Until someone can give you a better answer, you can tap the screen where you want it to go, and then touch the arrow that appears below and drag it to exactly where you want

Here's the answer!

If one has Swype on their phone there is a navigator on the keyboard. Just slide your finger from the Swype key to the SYM(bol) key right next to it. It brings up a full panel of options to navigate ones text.

Check out the advanced swype tips at:

You guys should have popped that back at me first thing. Instead the rookie figured it out with just a little bit of reading.
