Navigon (no memory inserted?)

hey all i'm trying to run navigon at the moment from my htc desire running 2.2 froyo, and i keep getting a memory not inserted error whenever i try to proceed with downloading a map. Any suggestiosn?

From Navigon's technical data page on their Android app:

Depending on map configuration, you will need up to 2 GB of free memory in order to install MobileNavigator on your device.

The error message makes it sound as if your memory card isn't available for maps. Check the card to make sure it's in the device, recognized and properly formatted.

I have an microsd card and astro detects it has over 5gb of space
