Need a better battery

Hello,

First of all I know there are a lot of threads about batteries, I want to hear your opinion.

I will be traveling a lot within the next 2 months,
I'm talking about 7,8 hour car rides as well as 10-12 hour days at the airport every other day.


What is the best solution for my phones battery life?

I am not looking for an extended battery case (this is not an option).

Maybe another battery? Maybe 2 more batteries?

I just want to be able to use my phone for that period of time without having to worry about the battery.
ps. I will be charging the battery every day at night, I want to be able to use it for 10-12 hours straight.

It will also be fun to watch my brother having to sit next to the AC DC adapter at the airport, or having to not use his Iphone 5 for a couple of hours while we are riding in the car haha.

Might or might not be important, I have a G S3 with ATT

Edited: I also want to know about NFC, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. I dont want to make another thread about this, if anybody can link me to a thread about NFC. I would like to start using it, but have no idea how, or what to do. Also how much it costs.

if you register your phone at samsung.com they send you a coupon
for 50% of all their accessories. buy the batteries from them !

Yep, I did this and bought a couple extra batteries since my wife and I both have S3's. If you don't mind paying a little extra, Samsung sells a dock and spare battery charger, so you can charge your spare while your phone charges.

Something like this: USB Sync and Battery Charger Cradle Dock for Samsung i9300, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S3
 
Does the dock work with jellybean or does it suffer the same fate as other docks? Or is it simply s power dock?

it's just a spare battery charger with a stand, not a functional dock.
it's still handy for keeping the xtra battery charged.

You sound adamant about extended batteries but you might want to reconsider. I just got the Hyperion 4200 mah battery and it eliminates all your worries about battery life. It easily lasts through a day, the night and half of the second day even with fairly heavy use like taking photos, videos and using maps and gps.
This battery eliminates the hassle of charging multiple batteries and prying off the back to switch them.

I just ordered a case and holster to fit.

By the way, a car charger cable is nice is you are using maps and gps a lot with the standard battery.

I wasnt talking about a extended battery itself, more of a case. I dont like cases ha.


On the other hand, how are you liking the hyperion? Is it worth the investment? any cons it might have?
