I previously had a galaxy nexus and you could change the picture size in the camera app. I use my phone camera to take alot of pictures for running ads for work, the only option on the maxx hd camera is 6mp and that is still to big. anyone know of a app that has more options.

I looked into this a while back and was shocked that many of the popular photo editing apps, like Photoshop for Android and Snapseed don't have the basic resize function. I finally found "Photo Editor" that has it. It's actually a nice app with lots of features--was surprised and pleased to see it had Clone Brush as one of the tools. (It might have too many features on it, LOL.)

is this something that i can set one time and it will take all pictures the same resolution?

Oops, no, I don't think so.

Camera FV-5 Lite will only produce photos of 640X480 pixel size (but that might be too small)

ZoomFX gives you several choices 8 MP, 5MP, 3.1MP, 1.9MP, 1.2MP, 0.8MP, 0.3MP, 0.1MP. It's $2.99. It gets rave reviews but I wasn't impressed with it's color accuracy.

Try Snap Camera. Lots of shooting sizes available. There's a free trial version available and the paid version is only 1.99. It's based on the JB 4.2 camera.
