Root Need a CWM tester [MetroPCS]

Alright, that diaz guy claims that the status of the bootloader being unlocked was confirmed. I'm iffy about it honestly. What I need is a tester who knows their way around adb commands. There is a possibility that your device will be bricked if the bootloader is not really unlocked. If you brick, there is no way to recover, sadly. If anyone is willing to be the tester, let me know. This is only for the MetroPCS variant. By testing, it will allow us to know if the bootloader is indeed unlocked.

Disclaimer: Neither I, or anyone else is responsible for anything that may happen to your device when testing. Your device == Your responsibility.

Honestly I would test but I'm scared that I will brick my device :|

I'm also thinking that it is not unlocked because when I had my old l70 I needed to unlock the bootloader
Edit: now that I think about I needed to unlock all of my bootloaders from all of my old phones lol
 
This isn't as similar to the L70 as you may think. I admit, I tried my method on the L70 on this device but it didn't work, just zeroed out the laf.img so I had no download mode lol

Isn't there a method to check if its unlocked? I remember I could check if it was unlocked when I had my old HTC evo 3d?
 
Yes, but I have not found a way to boot into fastboot. adb reboot bootloader does nothing, just reboots the device. Same when you adb reboot recovery
 
Well since no one will test. Can someone get me a copy of download mode, I lost mine when I tried the L70 exploit. @mrrom I would appreciate it if you could get it to me while I still have time and if you have time

Just got the leon today. excited about this. Tempted to try but sadly cant risk a brick . but if anyone tests and bricks it bad ill be generous enough to give them my old l70 xD.
 
i got 3 of em so im cool if i end up bricking one of em, new to developing but giving cm13 a go.........its......its going lol, i prefer cwm or philz to twrp so would love to test for you
