Need a little help/thoughts...

Had the GN2 for a couple of weeks now. On a few occasions I have been playing some YouTube videos and it pauses throughout the playback, the little circle in the middle comes up turning, then it will go back to the video. Very, very annoying and disappointing! How can this happen on a quad core processor??

Played the same video on my iPhone 5 without hesitation. Both were on wifi when this happened. I held down the home button, cleared out the active programs, and it still happened on playback. What in the world is going on? The latest and greatest Droid device, on strong wifi, with pausing video?

Please help and advise....

Thanks

I have the note 2. and yes it's my first smartphone. When I recieve a picture from a text message. How the heck can I save the picture? I have tried hitting the menu button on the bottom left. and the only options I can get are set picture as? I dont' want to set it as a screen or wallpaper. I just want to be able to save it. I wouldn't even mind having to share it. So I could find it somewhere else and save it. But for the life of me, I can't save a dang picture that was texted to me!

Hold your finger on the pic. You'll get pop up options. From there choose what you want to do with the pic.

Network is just fine, other devices are playing same videos just fine and uninterrupted.

What else does everyone have? Is anyone else getting video playback delay?

I *think* it may be an issue with the youtube app itself. Never started having this happen until very recently.

This even occurs from time to time on my new Macbook Air with the i7 and 8 gigs of ram. It has to be the video itself or Youtube, my network connection is screaming fast.

Even on my superfast cable connection of over 20MB, I'll ping the router and I'll ping an upstream router/internet.drain from a linux box on the same network.

local is fine, but 2-3 hops away goes to huge latency every now and then. It's probably not speed but quality of service when you see issues like this, and it can be sporadic.

I wish everyone had tools to troubleshoot these things... and understanding of how your connection, provider network, and internet drains are pieces of the puzzle. Sporadic issues can be very hard to track down.

"screaming fast" connections may not be the best connections, and can cause the circle thingy anywhere in-line.

Just my 2 cents here :D
