Here is a full update guide for Cyanogenmod for the GNex.

a friend changed my version to a custom version and its 4.0.4. now i want to get back to the defualt system so ill get the ICS.

Who's your cell phone network provider? AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, or Sprint?

You're trying to get ICS? Every galaxy nexus is running jelly bean.

How is your device bricked? Bricked meaning it won't boot up. In most cases a GNex is only soft bricked - meaning it's not really bricked, it's recoverable.
What is your device doing? You can easily return it to completely stock. There's guides posted in the all things root section.

yeah my bad the jelly bean.. and none of these u mentioned, my network provider is "orange". and im just trying to get the phone back to its original system and not the custom one that is installed.

Well if it's not Sprint or Verizon, I'm going to guess you have a GSM - maguro galaxy nexus. Check the GSM all things root guides. And post in there. They'll get you to the correct factory images.
