Need advice on best ebook reader application for android tablet

Hi,
I have a Superpad VI and need to install another application to read my ebooks, already have Kindle installed but of course it wont recognise books with ePub files.
I have quite a lot of books already with ePub files and am unable to use them through Kindle.
Is there a good application I can install on my android tablet so that I can read the rest of my books?
It's only a new tablet that my husband bought for me and so I am not that great with it yet. Need something easy to operate and will need to be able to load the ePub books through a usb stick I think.
Can anyone please offer any sensible and simple advice for me?
Have a great day.
cheers
Annie

Its not optimized for handling PDFs only. In fact I used to use Aldiko and FBReader and Moon to handle my Epubs but I ditched them all for Mantano because its smoother and faster on my device than those apps. Actually, I had PDF ebooks before, and I converted them to EPUB. Tried side by side and Mantano actually renders the EPUBs faster than the PDFs. Also, Mantano recognizes tags made on Calibre for EPUBs, whilst all the other apps you mentioned do not. Meaning you can edit the series, author, title, cover, even make your own EPUB ebook on your PC and Mantano will recognize all of the details you put. No so on Aldiko.

Mantano also recognizes DRMs on EPUBs. I have a DRM protected EPUB ebook that Aldiko refuses to recognize but Mantano opens it flawlessly.

Thanks for enlightening; I actually hadn't taken Mantano seriously before, except that it's the best for PDFs. Gonna try Mantano first for my next epub the next time. :)

Mantano Blog has also mentioned about adding a sync function and cloud service in the future, where if you have both ebooks on several devices (phone and tablet for example), it will sync your progress.

Thankyou all for your helpful advice. It's soooooooooo nice to have such cooperation these days. Keep up the wonderful help, you are inspirational.

I was wondering if there are any epub readers that'll sync with iTunes (ibooks) or at least that can sync with PC? @chanchan05 thanks for the info about them talking about syncing over cloud until I read that I haven't heard of anything to use like this with epub books on Android so if there aren't any now I guess I can patiently wait until they start their cloud service, hopefully it'll be free!:)
@anabella1, another pretty good option is a website you can upload.epub books to and read with browser, it I'd a really awsome idea but when reading on a smaller phone its kinda cramped and it only supports epub books. It is called www.ibisreader.com

i wanted to she this incase anyone is interested, I just went to the market to find mantano reader and in the update section it says it now supports mantano cloud with paid subscription. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mantano.reader.android https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mantano.reader.android.trial
you can have a free ten day evaluation for the cloud service after that you can get 1GB fir $1/month or $10/yr. And there are also more options with more space. Thanks again chanchan05 for mentioning the blog post you read about the cloud service.
