Need advice

Hello, I am in need of serious advice. I have an app developed out and works very well on the Android smart phones. What I need to do now is get the app modified for the new Cisco CIUS tablet. I was told it should be relativley an easy transition by adjusting the resolution code and a few other tweeks. My developer quoted me $3500:eek:. They do great work but I feel I am being taken advantage of. This is a business app and very serious about our product. How many hours of work do you think it would typicaly take to make this transition? Thanks for the help and I hope I am posting to the right group. Appreciate it...

It really depends on how much tweaking it needs. Just to scale all the graphics up usually is not a ton of work but I suspect there is more to it.

There's really no way to be sure unless we knew more of the intimate details about the app.

$3500 could be very low, or very high, or just right. It's impossible to say without knowing more and/or seeing the app and source code.

What I can tell you though is in NY $3500 would buy about a week's worth of developer time. Give or take a few days.

Anyways welcome to AF! hope that helps.
