I've been here with many of you since last September, still waiting for a Galaxy Note on Verizon. Now the Note 2 is coming soon and AT&T has a presence in Southeast, FL in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale & West Palm Beach. I don't think it will have the density of Verizon's network for at least a little while, and I'll be in the Boynton/Lake Worth and maybe Delray area, which probably need a few more cell towers. But, if I could get the Note 2 today, from either carrier, I'd do it in a second

So, what makes this a bigger problem is that my Blackberry Storm 2 is going nuts and the capacitive buttons don't work and it's going to camera and voice command on it's own. I can hit an icon and open an app but that's it. So, if I can't find someone with a Verizon phone, I have to make a quick decision.

So, I believe Verizon has a 15 day return policy. Do you know what ATT's is or even the other carrier that has the Note (Sprint or TMobile). I'm wondering if it is realistic to think that I can string along buys and returns until either ATT or VZW comes out with the Note 2. I don't want to buy a Note 1 now.

I believe if I get a replacement phone, that will cost me $125 so that's not a good idea. The only other possibility is to have my wife get the S3 from VZW and I use her Storm 2 and then when the Note 2 comes out get it from VZW but we don't know for sure if they'll have it. We can't both go to ATT because the Storm2 won't work on that Network.

So, in case I am missing something, I am throwing this out to this forum for some ideas.

Here is what I did. Called Asurion and for $99 I get a new Blackberry 9850. The trade-in value from Samsung for my BB 9950 was $46 but that was before there was water damage. So now that the little pad in the BB turned red I'd get nothing.

So now I'm not pressured and I can wait for the Note 2 and hopefully because of the Iphone 5 pending release, Samsung might offer some incentives

Good luck dude! I <3 my Note LTE so I'm sure you'll enjoy the Note 2 once it's available.

Now that South Florida has AT&T LTE, and it sounds like it might be pretty good where I'll be, I'm not chained to Verizon anymore, so I can't wait, unless this will be a 6 mos deal and then I might get the Note 1.

My ultimate phone would be a Note 2 with a WP8 that had the Windows Mobile 6 connectivity with MS Office that would sync to my laptop locally. But I have as much chance as that as my participating in the floor exercises at the 2016 Olympics. I just can't get over how Microsoft gave away such a natural and pretty large competitive advantage with a very large segment of adults and put themselves on an equal or less of a level as Android or Apple.
