Root need advise on rooting zmax i bought yesterday

Newbie
i bought this zmax from walmart for $150 bucks on sale. it has the B22 software on it and it wont root for the life on me and any advise is welcome.

Temp root method: Ringroot 4.1 (english version)

I have tried 10 launchers at once.

I have tried a mix of launchers and ram hugging apps like, "play store, both amazon apps, and facebook and messenger".

I tied all of the above with the app "RAMEATER" "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=derekwilson.net.rameater&hl=en" from the play store.

I then did more research and download PPSSPP free version and paid GOLD version and ran them both at the sametime with final fantasy and god of war : ghost of sparta with several temple run games and the lowest i got the memory down to is 20% remaining while trying..

I have task manager disabled on a wifi connection with wifi optimization disabled. usb debugging on, unknown sources on and verify apps under security off. I even tried with an auto task killer app that only killed task manager if it started.

This is what is happening... I run the first go and the phone reboots, clear cache and data and shuit down the phone with out a power cable then i turn it back on... I run ringroot again and it usually gets to 51 to 55% then stuff starts foreclosing and and stuff becomes unresponsive and kingroot says failed root and i have to reboot and try again.. about 30% of the time it says root fails and i clear cache and data and try again until stuff starts foreclosing and root fails. ive tried for hours and have tried so many with no end in site so im posting this for some advise if anyone can help.. I have the samsung avant also that ive been doing research on but that stuff is on hold till this mission is accomplished. Thanks.

try uninstalling, reinstalling, relaunching and retrying to root.
when/if the phone reboots during the temp root process don't clear data and cache, relaunch the app and you will see it's still trying to gain root.
idk it's somewhere to start

yea when it restarts kingroot reloads and says failed then i clear cache and data then turn off then reboot after unplugging the device

Man i guess i have andriod luck installed king root first try success was planning to get failed ! driod108

the best solution I found was to open 8 web browsers and put 25 tabs on each and It rooted it on the first try

This is what I did.

I ran Kingroot and it worked first shot the first time.
Then installed TWRP but forgot to flash the SU zip
Rebooted
Lost Root
Rebooted Again, Lost TWRP
Reran Kingroot and it kept failing
Uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked first shot.
Then, I did the steps correctly for my situation.
So, that's why I recommend reinstalling.

my steps are as follows..

*Start with freshly factory phone on B22..
*Installed 4.0 version kingroot as kingroot 4.1 wasn't working and causing application foreclosing problems.
*Ran kingroot 4.0 and it rebooted the phone and displayed failed root.. (NormaL)
*Opened apps settings foreclosed kingroot, cleared it's cache, then cleared data.
*I then installed an app auto start manager, doesnt matter which one, just so the following browsers auto start once at boot.
*Install chrome, chrome beta, chrome dev, firefox, firefox beta, opera, opera beta, uc browser, uc browser hd, and dolphin.
*Open all those browsers at the same time with 25 tabs or as many as the browser lets you if not 25 with www.youtube.com .
*Now turn off your phone with the power cable unplugged. (NOT RESTART).
*Power your phone back on and let the auto load manager do its trick loading the browsers.
*Open kingroot and run it. If all is good it will goto 100% on the first or second try.
*Click purge inside of kingroot.
*Install busybox
*install twrp with apk
*Transfer butternoob zip and supersu zip to your sd card.
*Click reboot inside of twrp apk.
*Backup Inside twrp after twrp boots.
*Goto Advanced Wipe and wipe delvik cache, cache, system, and data.
*Reboot back into twrp! and say no to installing supersu.
*When twrp reboots then flash butternoob and supersu
*Reboot
*See beautiful Butternoob boot animation.
*Go to MonDillinger post http://androidforums.com/threads/status-update-6-6-15-see-op-butternoob-stock-4-4-4-v2.919084/ and thank him for his hard work
