Need an app for group messaging

I recently came out of an Apple 4S. I own a Hockey League and send out a lot of text messages. I am looking for a Android App that will provide me with setting up groups that stay on file so when I decide to send out a bulk text I don't have to keep entering names from my contact list. I am hoping someone can help me out on this because thus far it has not been an easy task.
Do you know what app would give me what I am looking for?

It can do this by default. Just go to your contacts app and set your contacts into a group, then when sending a message, just hit the contacts button in the messaging app then select groups and check the group you want to send to.

Search Google Play for Groupy, Contacts Group You, Gang Book, DW contacts, Go Contacts. There is a whole lot more.

Even though it is a subscription service, OneCallNow is a great service to use for something like this.

I help to instruct an indoor drumline, and we use this as a way to be able to contact all of our members through different ways. It allows you to send out mass text messages to many different recipients through a proxy number, so that you're not having to use your personal phone number if you dont want to.

It also allows you to record an audio message, and have it pushed out to the members as a phone call. You record the message, push it out, it will ring on their phone as though it's a phone call, and when they pick up, it will play through the recorded message. It's a great way to convey much more information than what could normally be put in a text message, and it just allows for a much more immediate way to get in contact with people, since people are sometimes quicker to notice a phone call than a text message.
