Help Need an official Three UK ROM

First, some background:

Due to 3's constant delays and scrapping of supposed updates, I went ahead and manually updated to gingerbread 2.3.5 and then 2.3.6 via Odin.
For the most part things were going well but I have been suffering from the SoD problem many people are having and got fed up.

So over the past few days I have been trying Cyanogen mod and then Ice Cream Sunday.
Both are very impressive performance-wise but have problems of their own:
Google maps make the phone unusable, even when not using the app.
I also get frequent force close in Cyanogen and the wi-fi is really flaky in ICS and run horribly slowly much of the time.


So I am now trying to get an official Three ROM which will hopefully enable me to update to 2.3.6 again via KIES.

Any help here?
 
I have a copy of the rom. There are some fixes for your Cyanagen based issues. List the issues and ill reply with the fixes :)

are you running this? HERE

The ONLY issue remaining for me is no camera on video recording (stills are fine) (admittedly had to patch a few things! wifi/GPS etc)
 
I would be eternally grateful if you could forward me the 3 ROM please, if only to keep my options open :)

I did install that version of ICS you linked too and aside from the problems I mentioned, I was hitting more and more so gave up and went to cyanogen, installed form here: Dialandroid: How to Install CyanogenMod CM7.2 Android 2.3.7 on Samsung Galaxy ACE GT-S5830 with Video guide

This time I was more thorough with cleaning out my phone first and wiped the SD card and it is running better but still have the google maps problem.
I have tried the 5.8 version of maps which does work but I find the phone still starts grinding to a halt after a while and only runs normally again after uninstalling maps again.

The unoffical 7.2 versions are a bit unstable. Grifs CM7.1 is the most stable CM rom I tried.

Im back on stock for now. Waiting for:-

1 - Jusada's Carbon Sunday ROM (will be EPIC)
2 - Official Cyanagenmod 7.2
3 - The unnoficial Cyanagenmod 9.0 (Android 4.0.3) (is actual ICS - not skinned GB :))
 
Yes I think I will be sticking with the official 3 ROM for now.
I actually find 2.3.6 runs just as well as the mods, just missing some of the nicer features but also missing the annoying bugs.
I'm ok with bugs, it's just in the modded roms the bugs always seem to affect the things I really NEED to work properly :D

I'll just keep tabs on the above roms too and do plenty of reading up before trying them.
 
Jusadas ICS (stands for Ice Cream Sunday) is not Ice Cream Sandwich. Never said or thought it was!

What i was referring to is thisHERE which is a port of cyanagenmod 9 which is based on 4.0.3 which IS ICS.

by any chance could i grab that rom of you please ive been looking for months, i really would like to use kies again, i feel its more sustanable. :)
