Will a GS5 for T-Mobile work on AT&T?

By this, I mean, will I get LTE, all features/functions?

Will there be anything missing or bad by doing this?

Thank you in advance!!

They both are GSM, Verizon is just about the only hold out for CDMA.

The SIM card has to be programmed for the carrier you use. The phone should work on either carrier.

But, best wait for another opinion to come along. I am a Verizon user.

AT&T and Verizon are just opposite sides of the same over-priced/poor customer service coin.

I dumped Verizon and switched to T-Mobile. Cut my bill by over half and I've gotten much more responsive customer service. In the San Francisco Bay Area, T-Mobile's coverage is as good as Verizon's.

In the boonies, Verizon is the only one that is almost totally reliable... I have worked far from the metro areas nearly all of my life..... I tried all of the other carriers... Remember "Voice Stream?"

Well, I tried them too before they vaporized into nothingness. Went from that failure to Qwest which in metro areas is totally solid, but get outside in the boonies where only the wolves roam, nearly all of them fail....

Verizon is not 100% global like a satellite coverage would be, but it is the next best thing.... I have been with them now for over 15 years, and not going to change. That don't mean it is the best for everyone....

Yep, when I lived in a much more rural area, VZ was the only way to go. Living in Denver, I notice no difference between them and AT&T which I use for work.
