need for speed not working..help

I have downloaded need for speed shift(snapdragon) for my sony x8 (2.1).. But when i open it for installtion it says - unable to open ,delete some applications and try again , though its only 38 mb and i have 83 mb. Plz help

Its not installing it , when i opns it for install it says - out of space,free some space and try again though i hav 83 mb space

It may need more than the 83 mb free. Try uninstalling some apps. Generally if your phone tells you to free up some space you will need to. Also you can try moving apps to the SD to free up space as well.

In sony x8 , i thnk you cant move application from phone memory to sd memory card , i think. or if you know the way please tell me.

No you are right, I didn't realize you were on 2.1, I've seen posts saying you can root and get a apps2sd type app to work but all the ones on the market are froyo and up. I would suggest uninstalling unused apps, to get NFS to work. Just because the size you download on the market is less than you have free you need to remember .apk files are compressed and can take up more than the market download size.
