I have an Optus 'MyTab'/ZTE V9 that I bought when I started playing with Android. Installing other bootstrapper/recovery software has obviously removed/disabled the FTM diagnostic mode on the handset now.
I need to reinstall the FTM mode, assumed it was just an apk in the /system/app folder, have had no luck finding anything helpful about reinstalling it.
When I boot into what would normally be FTM mode, the screen just stays black and even though I can see the diagnostic com port in Windows via USB, the Optus Froyo upgrade tool doesn't recognise the handset.
Does anyone know if the FTM apk is stored someone in the filesystem, if it can be extracted from another phone or where it can be downloaded from?
