need handscent to stop correcting me!

i use handscent for texting. It keeps changing my words to words that make what im telling somone wrong. How do i stop auto correcting.for an example when i say, " hey get me a price from ur window guy" it will change it to "hey get me a price from our window guy."
is it a setting on the phone or hanscent? i thought i had it all uncheckd so it doesnt do this. thanks

Are you sure it's not your keyboard?

I've yet to hear of an app doing auto correct like a keyboard would.

I'd look into turning auto correct off on the keyboard and see if it's still doing the same thing.

nope: language and input/spell checker box is unchecked. only thing close to auto correct i see for keyboard.

handscent/application settings/autotext settings/ autotext. autotext/disable box will not let me check it and it doesnt have a check in it. this has to have somthing to do with it correcting me. must need a check in that box to disable it. wonder why it wont let me.

I haven't installed Handcent on my Maxx HD but had it on my old phone. Is there a word suggestion setting in Handcent? If there is, I'd try disabling that setting. Otherwise it could be a setting on your keyboard as has been suggested.
