Help Need Help. Adding multiple contacts on my business a/c and send all SMS

Jaxx89

Newbie
Ok first off, I am doing this for my business which is a small boutique.
Please do help me out if you can.

Ok so I have a database of around 300 customers and I have stored all those numbers on a .txt file.
What I want to do is store all those numbers on my business Gmail account so that I can sync them to my phone and message them.
1.)How do I add all these numbers in a .csv file?
My boutique name is 'Fling' so I would like a number suffix in my contacts like this(Or maybe I could add their names too)
Fling.1
Fling.2
Fling.3

2.)I want to SMS all of them at one go and receive reports of the same.
I used to do this earlier using Airdroid, but after updating Airdroid and my phones FW, the messages don't go through and I don't receive delivery reports.
I have tried various other softwares like Go SMS and mighty text, but can message only 10 contacts at once.

3.)How do I send a broadcast message on whatsapp once those contacts have added my number to their devices?
Can I send the same images to all the contacts on whatsapp with a broadcast message?

Just another thing,
can I group these messages in the messages app?
Thank you.

Make a group in Google Contacts called Fling.

To change a text file to a csv file, either add commas after every field (except the last one) or use Excel and paste (or paste special) the text into the spreadsheet (which one you'll need depends on the way you opened the text file and how it's constructed), or paste it into Word, copy the table it creates and paste that into Excel, or convert the table into text, copy that and paste it into Excel. (Without knowing the text file, I can only give you options, not a guaranteed method. With some text, I've had to try all sorts of text editors to get the copied text into a format that would paste into Excel in a "one datum per colum" format, which is what you want. Name in one column, address in another, phone number in another, etc.

Export a csv file from Google Contacts, and you'll see that one of the column headers is "Group". Put Fling into that Group column for all your contacts. Export or Save As a .csv file (or text/csv) from Excel, depending on the version of Excel. Then import the file into Google Contacts.

When your phone syncs up, you'll have a group named Fling, with all those contacts in it.

To SMS them, hit the + at the right of the address line when you're sending an SMS, select the Fling group, and all members of that group will get the SMS.

I don't use Whatsapp so I can't help you with that one.

Thanks a lot bro. I was not aware of the Groups feature.
But even selecting the group I can send a message to max 20. It will do just fine.
As for adding the contacts, I did that using Google Docs and then imported to gmail.
Really appreciate your help.
